What to Know
Considering their sizeable disadvantage in the spread, the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks can expect to have a real challenge on their hands on Saturday. They are on the road again on Saturday and play against the Arizona Wildcats at 10 p.m. ET Sept. 18 at Arizona Stadium. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things couldn’t have gone much worse for the Lumberjacks as they lost 34-7 to the South Dakota Coyotes last week. The last quarter was a mere formality since it was already 34-7 by the third quarter.
Meanwhile, Arizona has to be aching after a bruising 38-14 loss to the San Diego State Aztecs last week. Arizona was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 35-7. Arizona’s defeat came about despite a quality game from WR Stanley Berryhill III, who snatched one receiving TD.
The Lumberjacks suffered a grim 65-41 defeat to Arizona when the teams previously met two seasons ago. Can Northern Arizona avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We’ll soon find out.
