What to Know
The Seattle Seahawks will look to defend their home turf on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans at 4:25 p.m. ET. The Seahawks are the favorite in this one, with an expected 6.5-point margin of victory.
Seattle was able to grind out a solid win over the Indianapolis Colts last week, winning 28-16. The team ran away with 21 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the victory. Seattle QB Russell Wilson was slinging it as he passed for four TDs and 254 yards on 23 attempts. Wilson’s 69-yard touchdown toss up the middle to WR Tyler Lockett in the second quarter made for one of the most memorable moments of the afternoon.
Meanwhile, things couldn’t have gone much worse for Tennessee as they lost 38-13 to the Arizona Cardinals last week. The last quarter was a mere formality since it was already 38-13 by the third quarter. No one had a standout game offensively for Tennessee, but they got two touchdowns from QB Ryan Tannehill.
Seattle’s win lifted them to 1-0 while Tennessee’s loss dropped them down to 0-1. We’ll see if Seattle can repeat their recent success or if Tennessee bounces back and reverse their fortune.
