Leading McClure’s picks on Tuesday is Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts, who is listed at $4,100 on FanDuel and $6,400 on DraftKings. Betts’ 11-game hitting streak is the second-longest in the majors and he’s hit .372 during the streak. He also has five multi-hit games during this stretch as his batting average has jumped 11 points.
Betts has missed some time with injuries but is having another stellar all-around season. He has 21 home runs, 54 RBI and 10 stolen bases, while hitting .276 on the season. Betts has to be salivating at the Tuesday matchup against Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela as the former MVP has owned the righty. Betts is 5-for-11 (.455) in his career vs. Senzatela with two home runs and a double.
Another key in McClure’s optimal MLB DFS strategy is stacking Betts with infielder Trea Turner ($4,300 on FanDuel, $5,900 on DraftKings). Turner is also riding a streak as he has hits in his last seven games. The former National has five runs scored and four stolen bases over this stretch.
