Jarvis Landry will be out at least three weeks after the Browns placed their five-time Pro Bowl receiver on injured reserve. Landry is dealing with an MCL sprain that was sustained during the Browns’ Week 2 victory over the Texans. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski considered Landry as day-to-day during his press conference on Monday.

The Browns’ receiving corps has also been without Odell Beckham, who is still working his way back from knee surgery. If Beckham remains sidelined for Cleveland’s Week 3 game against the Bears, the Browns’ passing attack will lean on wideouts Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and rookie Anthony Schwartz

Rookie running back Demetric Felton led the Browns with 51 receiving yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 31-21 win over Houston. Tight ends Harrison Bryant and Austin Hooper combined to catch nine passes for 89 yards. Higgins caught two passes for 27 yards, while tight end David Njoku contributed with two receptions for 18 yards. The unit helped Baker Mayfield go 19 of 21 passing with 213 yards with a touchdown and an interception. While the passing game did its part, the Browns’ offense was led by the running back combo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Chubb rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, while Hunt ran for 51 yards on 13 carries.

An eight-year veteran, Landry has earned two of his five Pro Bowl selections as a member of the Browns. The NFL‘s receptions leader in 2017, Landry has caught 242 passes for 3,070 yards and 13 touchdowns in 49 regular season games with the Browns. He caught 72 passes for 830 yards and three touchdowns last season while helping the Browns clinch their first playoff berth since 1994.
