The Akron Zips have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the Ohio State Buckeyes at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday at Ohio Stadium. Both teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Akron made easy work of the Bryant Bulldogs last week and carried off a 35-14 victory.
Meanwhile, OSU was the big favorite in their most recent matchup, and for good reason. They put the hurt on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane with a sharp 41-20 win. RB TreVeyon Henderson was a one-man wrecking crew for the Buckeyes, rushing for three TDs and 277 yards on 24 carries. Henderson put himself on the highlight reel with a 52-yard TD scramble in the third quarter.

A couple defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Akron is 238th worst in the nation in touchdowns allowed, with 14 on the season. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
