Injuries to big-name wide receivers will shake up the Week 4 Fantasy football rankings. Titans wideout A.J. Brown suffered a hamstring injury early in Tennessee’s win over the Colts last Sunday. Brown played only eight snaps in the Titans’ victory and is considered week-to-week heading into Sunday’s matchup against the Jets. Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a rib injury and was ruled out for the remainder of Pittsburgh’s Week 3 matchup against the Bengals. Who will pick up the slack and be among the top Week 4 Fantasy football picks?
A reliable set of Week 4 Fantasy football rankings can help answer those questions and assist in your Week 4 Fantasy football start-sit decisions, trade evaluations or even help you find a gem on the Fantasy football waiver wire the rest of your league may have missed. Before you lock in your lineups, be sure to check out the Week 4 Fantasy football rankings from the proven computer model at SportsLine. It can help you make those tough decisions on which players to start and which players to leave on the bench.
When it comes to ranking players, SportsLine’s model beat human experts in Fantasy football for the past several seasons especially when there were big differences in ranking. Over the course of a season, that could literally be the difference between winning your league or going home empty-handed.
Last week, the model was extremely high on Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, saying he’d finish as a top-five player at his position. The result: Kupp hauled in nine receptions for 96 yards and two touchdowns against the Buccaneers. Anybody who had him in their lineup was well on their way to a huge week.
Now, the model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, has revealed its Fantasy football rankings for Week 4 of the 2021 NFL season. Head to SportsLine now to see them.
Top Week 4 Fantasy football picks
One player the model is extremely high on this week: Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore. Carolina’s offense needed a spark with Christian McCaffrey suffering a hamstring injury early in the game and Moore delivered admirably against the Texans. In fact, Moore caught eight of 12 targets for 126 yards in Thursday’s 24-9 win over Houston.
Moore has put up at least 75 yards in each of his three games to begin the 2021 NFL season and will now look to dissect a Dallas defense that is giving up 331.7 passing yards per game this season, which ranks 31st in the NFL. SportsLine’s model ranks Moore as a top-10 wide receiver this week, making him a rock-solid WR1.
And a massive shocker: Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, who’s thrown three or more touchdowns in two of his last three outings, stumbles big-time and doesn’t even crack the top 12 at his position. Murray has exploded out of the gate this season, accounting for 10 total TDs through the first three weeks.
Murray has also eclipsed 300 passing yards twice already this season, but now he’ll face off against one of the NFL’s stingiest defenses. The Cardinals will travel to Los Angeles to face the Rams, a defense that’s given up only two touchdown passes this season. Last season, Murray completed just 8-of-11 pass attempts for 87 yards in Arizona’s 18-7 setback against the Rams in January. With such a tough matchup on Sunday, Murray is a player to consider putting on the bench in Week 4.
