The 2021 NFL season continues on Sunday and NFL daily Fantasy players will be prepping for another loaded 13-game afternoon slate. There are a whopping five games in the early and late windows with totals at Caesars Sportsbook of 50 points or higher, opening up a lot of options for NFL DFS stacks. But who has the best matchups, and where should you have the most exposure as you set your Week 4 NFL DFS lineups?
The Chiefs are off to a disappointing 1-2 start after back-to-back losses to the Ravens and Chargers, but the offense still ranks top six in the NFL in scoring and total yardage. And with the total at 54.5 and Kansas City favored by seven over Philadelphia. Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Clyde Edwards-Helaire will all be popular options in the NFL DFS player pool. Before locking in any NFL DFS picks for Week 4 on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, be sure to check out the NFL DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy football picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.
McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1 percent in more than a dozen other tournaments last season.
He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.
Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Week 4 NFL schedule and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.
Top NFL DFS picks for Week 4
One of McClure’s top NFL DFS picks for Week 4 is Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper ($6,000 on DraftKings and $7,600 on FanDuel). After being targeted 16 times and catching 13 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns in a Week 1 loss to the Buccaneers, Cooper has fallen by the wayside a bit in a crowded Dallas offense.
With Dallas making a more concerted effort to run the ball, Cooper has been targeted just nine times in the last two weeks and has caught six passes for 50 yards during that span. But against a dominant Panthers run defense, you can expect the Cowboys to implement a similar gameplan as they did in Week 1, leading to more regular usage for Cooper. And his six red-zone targets rank sixth among NFL wide receivers so far this season, so he has significant touchdown potential as well.
Part of McClure’s optimal NFL DFS strategy also includes rostering Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce ($8,100 DraftKings, $8,200 FanDuel). Kelce has very clearly established himself as the premier tight end in the league after five consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, and he continues to be at the center of Kansas City’s plan of attack on a weekly basis.
Kelce has had at least six receptions for 76 yards in every game this season and he currently leads NFL tight ends in receptions (20), yards (289) and Fantasy points per game (22.3). He’s also top five in targets, target share, air yards, air yard share, yards per route run and Fantasy points per route run. All signs point to him having another big game against an Eagles defense that gave up six catches for 80 yards and two scores to Dalton Schultz a week ago.
