One of the most consequential trades that occurred this offseason in the NFL was the Detroit Lions sending star quarterback Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams. After 12 seasons in Detroit, Stafford was going to try his luck with another club, and the move to the NFC West also meant he would become rivals with a former teammate.
Safety Quandre Diggs spent almost five seasons with Stafford in Detroit before being traded to the Seattle Seahawks. Once he learned in January that Stafford was headed to his division, he tweeted out that he was looking to intercept his former teammate when they met as opponents.
Their first meeting came on Thursday night, and sure enough early in the second quarter, Stafford failed to throw a pass away correctly and Diggs picked him off in the end zone.

That is certainly a throw Stafford would like to have back — for a couple of different reasons. After the game, you know Diggs is going to rib his old quarterback for making a mistake on his watch.
