Betts tied his career-low with a .264 average while battling injuries as he missed 40 games this regular season, but the power and the plate patience still made him a productive player offensively.
Betts hit 23 home runs and finished with a total of 55 extra-base hits and had an OBP of .367 to go along with a .487 slugging percentage. So far this postseason, he’s 4-for-8, and Betts should be pretty happy to see Kevin Gausman when he steps into the box on Saturday night. Betts is 15-for-46 off Gausman lifetime with three home runs and has a .923 career OPS against him.
Another key in McClure’s optimal MLB DFS strategy includes rostering Brewers outfielder Avisail Garcia ($2,700 on FanDuel and $4,200 on DraftKings). After being non-tendered by the White Sox after 2018, having a decent season with the Rays in 2019 and then struggling with the Brewers in the shortened 2020 season, Garcia had one of the best offensive seasons of his career in 2021.
