Combate Global returns on Friday night with a card set to be headlined by something of a crossroads fight in the featherweight division. In the main event, 26-fight veteran Dumar Roa faces undefeated 24-year-old Landry Ward.
Ward is 4-0 in his professional career, including two knockout victories. In his most recent fight, Ward made his Combate Global debut by scoring a split decision victory over Alfrego Ruelas. Roa also got off to a great start in his career, winning his first six bouts. He has hit a long uneven stretch, never winning more than two consecutive fights but also never hitting more than a two-fight losing skid while running up a record of 16-10. Roa enters Friday’s fight on a two-fight losing skid.
