Watch The Washington Football Team vs. Chiefs: TV channel, live stream info, start time

Who’s Playing

Kansas City @ Washington

Current Records: Kansas City 2-3; Washington 2-3

What to Know

This Sunday, the Washington Football Team are hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 31 points per matchup. They will play host again and welcome the Kansas City Chiefs to FedEx Field, where kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET next Sunday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’

There was early excitement for Washington after they claimed the game’s first points on Sunday, but it was the New Orleans Saints who ended up claiming the real prize. Washington took a 33-22 hit to the loss column. QB Taylor Heinicke had a pretty forgettable game, throwing two interceptions with a passing completion percentage of only 48.78%.

Special teams collected ten points for Washington. K Dustin Hopkins delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.

Meanwhile, Kansas City received a tough blow on Sunday as they fell 38-20 to the Buffalo Bills. No one had a standout game offensively for the Chiefs, but they got scores from WR Byron Pringle and TE Travis Kelce.

The losses bumped both teams down to an identical 2-3. Washington doesn’t typically stay down for long — they’re 2-0 after losses this season — so Kansas City (1-1 after losses) won’t have an easy go of it.
