PSG vs. RB Leipzig: UEFA Champions League live stream, TV channel, how to watch online, news, odds, time

Paris Saint-Germain is looking to build on their win over Manchester City last time out in UEFA Champions League Group A on Paramount+ when they host RB Leipzig on Tuesday. The Germans, on the other hand, are seeking to save their UCL season after opening losses to both City and Club Brugge.

The PSG doubleheader could be crucial for American coach Jesse Marsch as the Bundesliga outfit chase their first points of the campaign and Neymar’s absence through a groin injury could aid the visitors given his good performances against them in recent meetings.

PSG and RB Leipzig team news

PSG: Neymar (groin), Leandro Paredes (thigh) and Sergio Ramos (fitness) are all out.

Leipzig: Dani Olmo, Brian Brobbey and Marcel Halstenberg are all out but Christopher Nkunku is fit enough to return to Paris after coming through last weekend’s clash with Freiburg.

Storylines

PSG: The French giants top Group A with four points from a possible six but beat rivals City last time out with Lionel Messi opening his account in Paris. Last time these two met, PSG beat Leipzig 1-0 through a Neymar penalty as both teams emerged from the group stage at Manchester United’s expense. Les Parisiens have lost just once all season away at Stade Rennais before the international break and got back to winning ways against Angers SCO last Friday.

Leipzig:

Marsch’s men lost at home to Brugge last time out and suffered a heavy loss away at City with ex-PSG man Nkunku scoring all four of Die Roten Bullen’s Champions League goals so far. RBL are without a win in five on the road and badly need the points if they are to avoid dropping out of Europe altogether with the Belgians leading the race to at least drop into the UEFA Europa League. Leipzig beat the French capital outfit in last year’s group stage as both advanced as the top two in  Group H.

Prediction

A narrow home win to make matters worse for Marsch and his side. Neymar’s absence will obviously impact PSG but Messi and Kylian Mbappe still make Mauricio Pochettino’s men dangerous in attack. This is a key stretch for Leipzig, but the Germans will find it easier to take points from the Ligue 1 powerhouse at home. Pick: PSG 2-1 Leipzig.
