How to watch Raptors vs. Wizards basketball game

Through 3 Quarters
This matchup looks like it will end up very different from the tight two-point margin of the Washington Wizards’ win over the Toronto Raptors in their previous head-to-head May. Three quarters in and the Wizards’ offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating Toronto 81-59 three quarters in.
Washington has been led by Montrezl Harrell, who so far has 20 points in addition to eight rebounds. The Raptors haven’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to 12 points or fewer.

What to Know
The Toronto Raptors and the Washington Wizards will face off at 7:30 p.m. ET October 20th at Scotiabank Arena to kick off their 2021 seasons. Last year was nothing to brag about for Toronto (27-45), so the squad is looking forward to a new start. On the other hand, Washington is coming off of a 34-38 season with hopes of advancing further than the first round of the playoffs, where they were eliminated by the Philadelphia 76ers 129-112 in game five.
A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Raptors were third worst when it came to fouls per game last season, with the team coming up with 21.2 on average. To make matters even worse for Toronto, Washington was the best in fouls drawn per game, finishing the 2020-2021 season with 22 on average.
The point spread is more or less neutral, so fans should expect a close contest. We’ll see if the game is as close as the oddsmakers expect or if one of these teams has a surprise blowout in them.
