The Washington Wizards’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Boston Celtics at 5 p.m. ET Oct. 30 at Capital One Arena. Washington is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.

The Wizards meant business on Thursday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Washington squad that was averaging just 97.75 points allowed per contest. They enjoyed a cozy 122-111 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Washington’s center Montrezl Harrell looked sharp as he dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds along with five dimes.

Boston is out to make up for these teams’ matchup on Wednesday. They fell to Washington 116-107. Small forward Jaylen Brown wasn’t much of a difference maker for Boston; Brown played for 37 minutes with 5-for-16 shooting.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Wizards are expected to win a tight contest Saturday. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a two-game streak of ATS wins.

Washington’s win lifted them to 4-1 while Boston’s defeat dropped them down to 2-3. Allowing an average of 119 points per game, the Celtics haven’t exactly asserted themselves on the defensive end. We’ll see if they can patch up the holes in their defense before their upcoming game.
