Tennessee @ Indianapolis

Current Records: Tennessee 5-2; Indianapolis 3-4

What to Know

The Tennessee Titans have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. Tennessee and the Indianapolis Colts will face off in an AFC South battle at 1 p.m. ET next Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.

The Titans took their contest against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday by a conclusive 27-3 score. The Tennessee offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the matchup anyway. Among those leading the charge for Tennessee was WR A.J. Brown, who caught eight passes for one TD and 133 yards. That receiving effort made it the first game that Brown has posted more than 100 yards receiving.

Tennessee’s defense was a presence as well, as it got past Kansas City’s offensive line to sack the QB four times for a total loss of 31 yards. Leading the way was DE Denico Autry and his two sacks. Autry now has 3.5 sacks this year.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis netted a 30-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The Colts got their victory on the backs of several key players, and it was QB Carson Wentz out in front passing for two TDs and 150 yards on 26 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown. Wentz ended up with a passer rating of 139.20.

Indianapolis’ defense was a presence as well, as it collected two interceptions and two fumbles. The picks came courtesy of CB Xavier Rhodes and SS Khari Willis.

The Titans are now 5-2 while Indianapolis sits at 3-4. Tennessee is 3-1 after wins this season, Indianapolis 1-1.
