No. 1 Georgia will travel to Knoxville on Saturday, Nov. 13 to take on Tennessee in an SEC East showdown that will be featured as the SEC on CBS Game of the Week. It will be a tough road test for a Georgia squad that made it through the first two months of the season with an unblemished record and eyes on its first national title since 1980.
The Volunteers have been steadily improving under first-year coach Josh Heupel. Quarterback Hendon Hooker has settled in nicely to the starting quarterback role, while wide receivers Velus Jones and Cedric Tillman have emerged as leaders in a versatile receiving corps. It’ll be a big challenge for the stout Bulldogs defense.
Elsewhere, No. 13 Texas A&M will travel to Oxford to take on No. 15 Ole Miss in a matchup that could have a major impact on the race for a New Year’s Six bowl berth.
