The Philadelphia 76ers haven’t won a game against the Portland Trail Blazers since Nov. 2 of 2019, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Monday. The 76ers have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Portland at 7 p.m. ET Nov. 1 at Wells Fargo Center. The Sixers should still be feeling good after a big win, while the Trail Blazers will be looking to right the ship.
A well-balanced attack led the Sixers over the Atlanta Hawks every single quarter on their way to victory this past Saturday. Philadelphia put the hurt on Atlanta with a sharp 122-94 victory. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Philadelphia had established an 89-69 advantage. Their power forward Tobias Harris did his thing and dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the contest between Portland and the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday was not particularly close, with the Trail Blazers falling 125-113. The top scorer for Rip City was shooting guard CJ McCollum (25 points).
The 76ers are the favorite in this one, with an expected 6-point margin of victory. Those who got lucky with them against the spread this past Saturday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
