After three quarters it’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Chicago Bulls as the 76ers lead 84-74. Philadelphia has been riding high on the performance of small forward Georges Niang, who has 18 points.
Philadelphia and Chicago came into this game with previous-game wins. After we’ll see if Philadelphia has enough left in the tank to claim the win or if Chicago will come out on top yet again.

The Chicago Bulls haven’t won a matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers since March 6 of 2019, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Wednesday. Chicago’s road trip will continue as they head to Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. ET to face off against Philadelphia. The point spread is more or less neutral, so fans should expect a close game.
The Bulls strolled past the Boston Celtics with points to spare on Monday, taking the contest 128-114. The win came about thanks to a strong surge after the third quarter to overcome a 103-89 deficit. Chicago’s small forward DeMar DeRozan did his thing and had 37 points along with seven boards.
Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers typically have all the answers at home, but on Monday the Sixers proved too difficult a challenge. Philadelphia was able to grind out a solid victory over Portland, winning 113-103. The Sixers’ center Andre Drummond looked sharp as he posted a double-double on 15 rebounds and 14 points in addition to seven assists.
The wins brought the Bulls up to 6-1 and the Sixers to 5-2. Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Chicago ranks fourth in the league when it comes to blocked shots per game, with 6.29 on average. But the Sixers are even better: they enter the matchup with 6.86 blocked shots per game on average, good for second best in the league. Points in the paint might be hard to come by.
