The Cleveland Cavaliers will be returning home after a five-game road trip. They will take on the Portland Trail Blazers at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The Cavaliers will be strutting in after a win while Portland will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Things were close when Cleveland and the Charlotte Hornets clashed on Monday, but Cleveland ultimately edged out the opposition 113-110. Cleveland’s center Jarrett Allen looked sharp as he dropped a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds in addition to three blocks.
Meanwhile, Rip City came up short against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, falling 113-103. Small forward Norman Powell (22 points), point guard Damian Lillard (20 points), and shooting guard CJ McCollum (20 points) were the top scorers for Portland.
The Cavaliers are expected to lose this next one by 5.5. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 5-2 against the spread when expected to lose.
