Through 2 Quarters
The Toronto Raptors were expected to win this one, and so far that’s exactly how it’s playing out. They are in control with a 60-48 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Raptors haven’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to 12 points or fewer. Cleveland has been led by center Jarrett Allen, who so far has nine points along with nine boards. A double-double would be Allen’s third in a row.
If the game were over at this point, it would be the Cavaliers’ worst margin of defeat yet this year.

What to Know
After three games on the road, the Toronto Raptors are heading back home. They will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday at Scotiabank Arena. These two teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.
The Washington Wizards typically have all the answers at home, but on Wednesday the Raptors proved too difficult a challenge. Toronto beat Washington 109-100. Toronto can attribute much of their success to shooting guard Fred VanVleet, who had 33 points and six assists.
Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers typically have all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Cleveland proved too difficult a challenge. Cleveland had just enough and edged out the Trail Blazers 107-104. The Cavaliers’ center Jarrett Allen looked sharp as he posted a double-double on 24 points and 17 boards.
The Raptors are the favorite in this one, with an expected 6-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a three-game streak of ATS wins.
The wins brought Toronto up to 6-3 and Cleveland to 5-4. Two numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Toronto enters the matchup with 11 steals per game on average, which is the best in the league. Less enviably, the Cavaliers have allowed their opponents an average of 10.4 steals per game, the second most in the league. In other words, they will need to work extra hard to take care of the ball.
