The Arizona Cardinals have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. Arizona and the San Francisco 49ers will face off in an NFC West battle at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday at Levi’s Stadium. San Francisco should still be feeling good after a victory, while the Cardinals will be looking to right the ship.
It was a hard-fought game, but Arizona had to settle for a 24-21 loss against the Green Bay Packers last week. QB Kyler Murray had a pretty forgettable game, throwing two interceptions. Murray ended up with a passer rating of 124.30.
Meanwhile, San Francisco netted a 33-22 win over the Chicago Bears last week. San Francisco can attribute much of their success to RB Elijah Mitchell, who rushed for one TD and 137 yards on 18 carries.
Special teams collected 13 points for the 49ers. K Joey Slye delivered a perfect 4-for-4 game.
The Cardinals are expected to lose this next one by 3. Those burned by picking them against the spread last Thursday might want to keep in mind that the team has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.
