NBA DFS: Chris Paul and top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Nov. 6, 2021

NBA DFS: Chris Paul and top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Nov. 6, 2021

The 2021-22 NBA season continues on Saturday and daily Fantasy basketball players who like to target totals might want to take note of the Bulls vs. 76ers matchup at 7 p.m. ET. It’s not the night’s highest total but the line has moved from 210.5 to 215.5 at Caesars Sportsbook since news broke that Matisse Thybulle would be out because of health and safety protocols. Philadelphia’s best wing defender limited Zach LaVine to 3-of-11 shooting when he guarded him on Wednesday night and LaVine still had 27 points overall.

Without Thybulle, LaVine and fellow wing scorer DeMar DeRozan, who had 37 points on Wednesday, are sure to be popular options in NBA DFS lineups on Saturday. But who else in the NBA DFS player pool should you be targeting, and which role players have matchups you can exploit to free up cap space to spend on other big-name players? Before finalizing your NBA DFS picks for Saturday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Friday, McClure listed Spurs forward Thaddeus Young as one of his top picks on both sites. The result: Young filled up the stat sheets with 12 points, five assists, four rebounds, three blocks and two steals to return nearly 8x on FanDuel and over 6x on DraftKings. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Saturday, November 6 NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Saturday, November 6

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Saturday is Celtics guard Dennis Schroder at $5,400 on DraftKings and $6,000 on FanDuel. Schroder took a gamble by turning down a reported $84 million offer from the Lakers to go to free agency and wound up having to take a one-year, $5.9 million contract with the Celtics.

Now he’s motivated to earn a long-term contract with his play this season and he’s in a position to serve as Boston’s second option offensively with Jaylen Brown (leg) out on Saturday against the Mavericks. The Mavericks gave up 23 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to Dejounte Murray on Wednesday night and rank 16th in the NBA in defensive rating. So ride what could be considerable shot volume at a reasonable price with Schroder in your NBA DFS lineups.

Another key in McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes adding Suns guard Chris Paul at $8,100 on FanDuel and $8,400 on DraftKings. The 11-time NBA All-Star is still going strong at age 36 and is leading the NBA in assists (12.0) through the first month of the 2021-22 NBA season.

Paul isn’t relied upon as much as a scorer at this stage of his career but he’s replaced being able to go by people regularly with a sensational mid-range game, a solid 3-point shot and crafty finishing around the rim. He can still, however, go off for 25-plus on any given night. He’s also been a dominant defender of late and is coming off a game where he had five steals and two blocks earlier this week.

How to set NBA DFS lineups for Saturday, November 6

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Saturday because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
