Several key contributors from across the league’s landscape are currently dealing with injury issues

A new NBA season means a new set of injury issues for players, and teams, to deal with. Just a few weeks into the 2021-22 campaign there’s already a slew of injuries across the league’s landscape — some more serious than others. Two straight shortened offseason probably didn’t help matters in this regard. 

Some star players, like Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson, are still recovering from older injuries, while others, like Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, are dealing with new ailments. In addition to physical issues, teams are also dealing with absences due to the league’s health and safety protocols amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
