The Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the Tulane Green Wave are even-steven against one another since November of 2015 (3-3), but not for long. Tulsa is staying on the road Saturday to face off against the Green Wave at 4 p.m. ET Nov. 13 at Benson Field at Yulman Stadium. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’
Tulsa came up short against the Cincinnati Bearcats last week, falling 28-20. A silver lining for Tulsa was the play of RB Shamari Brooks, who rushed for one TD and 132 yards on 25 carries.
Meanwhile, Tulane was within a late touchdown of stealing the victory, but they took the “L” against the UCF Knights 14-10. QB Michael Pratt had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: he passed for only 147 yards on 29 attempts.
This next contest is expected to be close, with Tulsa going off at just a 3-point favorite. Those who got lucky with them against the spread last week might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the squad has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
