Charlotte has been relying on shooting guard Kelly Oubre Jr., who has 14 points along with two blocks, and power forward Miles Bridges, who has 15 points and four assists in addition to eight boards. One thing to keep an eye out for is Nick Richards’ foul situation as he currently sits at four.
Washington has been led by center Daniel Gafford, who so far has 20 points in addition to eight rebounds.

What to Know
This Wednesday, the Charlotte Hornets are hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 115.07 points per game. They will take on the Washington Wizards at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at Spectrum Center after having had a few days off. These two teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.
It was all tied up 57-57 at the half for the Hornets and the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, but Charlotte stepped up in the second half for a 106-102 win. The top scorers for Charlotte were power forward Miles Bridges (22 points), point guard LaMelo Ball (21 points), and shooting guard Terry Rozier (20 points).
Meanwhile, Washington didn’t have too much breathing room in their matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, but they still walked away with a 105-100 victory. The win came about thanks to a strong surge after the half to overcome a 58-41 deficit. Washington can attribute much of their success to point guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who had 27 points and nine assists along with five boards.
Barring any buzzer beaters, Charlotte is expected to win a tight contest. They are currently three-for-three against the spread in their most recent games, a trend bettors might want to take into account.
