What to Know
After a two-game homestand, the Missouri State Bears will be on the road. They will take on the Sam Houston Bearkats at 8:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Johnson Coliseum. The Bears won’t have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy a 4.5-point advantage in the spread.
MSU didn’t have too much trouble with the Alabama State Hornets at home on Saturday as they won 78-60.
Meanwhile, Sam Houston came up short against the Nebraska Cornhuskers last Friday, falling 74-65. Demarkus Lampley had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only seven points on 2-for-14 shooting in his 36 minutes on the court.
MSU is expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks Nov. 9 easily too and instead slipped up with a 99-94. In other words, don’t count Sam Houston out just yet.
