What to Know
After a three-game homestand, the Utah Utes will be on the road. They will take on the Boston College Eagles at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday at Ocean Center. The Utes will be strutting in after a win while BC will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Utah simply couldn’t be stopped on Monday, as they easily beat the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats at home 86-55. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the spread was 31 points in Utah’s favor. Utah’s guard David Jenkins Jr. was one of the most active players for the team, shooting 6-for-9 from beyond the arc and finishing with 25 points and five assists.
Meanwhile, BC came up short against the Rhode Island Rams on Wednesday, falling 57-49. Forward Quinten Post had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 33 minutes with 4-for-14 shooting.
Boston College’s loss took them down to 3-1 while Utah’s victory pulled them up to 3-0. A win for BC would reverse both their bad luck and Utah’s good luck. We’ll see if the Eagles manage to pull off that tough task or if the Utes keep their momentum going instead.
