The #23 Connecticut Huskies’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Binghamton Bearcats at noon ET Nov. 20 at XL Center. UConn is out to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
If there were any doubts why the Huskies were heavy favorites Wednesday, the squad quickly laid those doubts to rest. They took their contest at home on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 93-40 win over the LIU Sharks. UConn got double-digit scores from five players: forward Tyler Polley (17), guard Andre Jackson (14), guard Jalen Gaffney (11), forward Adama Sanogo (11), and guard Tyrese Martin (10).
Meanwhile, Binghamton came up short against the Columbia Lions on Wednesday, falling 85-77.
Connecticut’s victory lifted them to 3-0 while Binghamton’s loss dropped them down to 1-2. In Connecticut’s victory, Andre Jackson had 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks and Tyrese Martin had ten points along with seven boards. We’ll see if Binghamton have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
