What to Know
The Oklahoma Sooners will take on the Utah State Aggies at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday at HTC Center. Both teams are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games.
Oklahoma entered their matchup on Friday as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to expectations. They put the hurt on the Indiana State Sycamores with a sharp 87-63 victory. The Sooners’ forward Tanner Groves looked sharp as he had 24 points in addition to eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, everything went Utah State’s way against the New Mexico St. Aggies on Friday as they made off with an 85-58 win. Utah State got double-digit scores from four players: guard Rylan Jones (19), forward Justin Bean (17), forward Brandon Horvath (12), and guard Max Shulga (11).
Their wins bumped Oklahoma to 4-0 and Utah State to 3-1. After these two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
