On Thursday, NIU lost to the Missouri Tigers on the road by a decisive 54-37 margin. Guard Keshawn Williams wasn’t much of a difference maker for NIU; Williams finished with only seven points on 1-for-10 shooting in his 32 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, Boston University beat the Hartford Hawks 75-70 on Thursday.
Northern Illinois’ defeat took them down to 1-3 while Boston University’s victory pulled them up to 3-2. We’ll see if NIU can steal the Terriers’ luck or if Boston University records another victory instead.
