The Hofstra Pride are on the road again on Monday and play against the Richmond Spiders at 7 p.m. ET Nov. 22 at Robins Center. These two teams are looking to take out their frustrations on one another after having lost close ones recently.
Hofstra was close but no cigar this past Friday as they fell 69-67 to the Maryland Terrapins. One thing holding the Pride back was the mediocre play of guard Aaron Estrada, who did not have his best game: he played for 36 minutes with and six turnovers.
Speaking of close games: it was close but no cigar for Richmond as they fell 73-70 to the Drake Bulldogs this past Saturday. Forward Tyler Burton did his best for Richmond, finishing with 30 points (a whopping 43% of their total) in addition to nine rebounds.
The losses put Hofstra at 1-3 and Richmond at 2-2. Hofstra is 1-1 after losses this season, the Spiders 1-0.
