The New Orleans Privateers and the Cent. Arkansas Bears are even-steven against one another since January of 2016 (5-5), but not for long. New Orleans will stay at home another game and welcome the Bears at 2 p.m. ET Nov. 24 at Lakefront Arena. The teams split their matchups last year, with Cent. Arkansas winning the first 83-79 at home and New Orleans taking the second 88-63.
New Orleans was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap last Friday as they fell 83-78 to the Rice Owls.
Meanwhile, it was a close one, but this past Saturday Cent. Arkansas sidestepped the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles for a 70-67 win.
The Privateers are the favorite in this one, with an expected 8.5-point margin of victory. They hadn’t treated fans well this season, but they at least enjoy a 3-0 record against the spread.
Cent. Arkansas’ victory lifted them to 1-3 while New Orleans’ loss dropped them down to 1-3. We’ll see if the Bears can repeat their recent success or if New Orleans bounces back and reverse their fortune.
