How to watch Cavaliers vs. Suns: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Wednesday’s NBA game

Through 3 Quarters

Down five at the end of last quarter, the Phoenix Suns have now snagged the lead. They currently hold an 87-86 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Phoenix has been riding high on the performance of shooting guard Devin Booker, who has 30 points along with four boards. One thing to keep an eye out for is Deandre Ayton’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Center Jarrett Allen has led the way so far for Cleveland, as he has posted a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds.

The Cavaliers haven’t lost 78% of the games in which they were down heading into the final period this year, so a win here would be refreshing.

Current Records: Phoenix 14-3; Cleveland 9-9

What to Know

The Cleveland Cavaliers haven’t won a contest against the Phoenix Suns since Feb. 21 of 2019, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Wednesday. The Cavaliers will be playing at home against Phoenix at 7 p.m. ET. Phoenix should still be riding high after a win, while Cleveland will be looking to right the ship.

It looks like Cleveland got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Monday as they fell 117-112 to the Brooklyn Nets. The top scorers for Cleveland were point guard Darius Garland (24 points) and small forward Lauri Markkanen (22 points).

As for the Suns, they have more to be thankful for after their game against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. Phoenix came out on top in a nail-biter against San Antonio, sneaking past 115-111. Center Deandre Ayton and point guard Cameron Payne were among the main playmakers for Phoenix as the former dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 boards and the latter had 20 points.

Cleveland is expected to lose this next one by 6.5. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 10-5 against the spread when expected to lose.

Cleveland is now 9-9 while the Suns sit at 14-3. A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Cavaliers come into the matchup boasting the third fewest points allowed per game in the league at 102.6. But Phoenix enters the matchup with 111.8 points per game on average, good for fourth best in the league. These opposing strengths should make for an exciting matchup.
