After a five-game homestand, the Grand Canyon Antelopes will be on the road. They will take on the Pepperdine Waves at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday at Firestone Fieldhouse. The Antelopes will be strutting in after a victory while Pepperdine will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Grand Canyon has more to be thankful for after their matchup against the Life Pacific Warriors on Wednesday. Grand Canyon claimed a resounding 82-47 win over Life Pacific at home.
As for Pepperdine, it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They took a 73-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the TCU Horned Frogs. The Waves got double-digit scores from four players: Jan Zidek (17), Houston Mallette (15), Jade’ Smith (10), and Mike Mitchell Jr. (10).
The Antelopes are now 4-1 while Pepperdine sits at 2-5.
