Through 3 Quarters

Only one more quarter stands between the Indiana Pacers and the victory they were favored to collect going into this night. They have emerged as the frontrunner and are ahead of the Toronto Raptors 92-83.

The top scorers for Indiana have been shooting guard Kelan Martin (15 points), power forward Domantas Sabonis (14 points), center Myles Turner (14 points), and small forward Caris LeVert (14 points). This makes it four consecutive games in which Domantas Sabonis has had at least ten rebounds.

Point guard Fred VanVleet (21 points) has been the top scorer for Toronto. Fred VanVleet does need to be careful, however, as he is in foul trouble with four.

the Raptors have lost 78% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this year, so this one seems just about wrapped up

What to Know

The Indiana Pacers’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Toronto Raptors at 8 p.m. ET Nov. 26 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Toronto will be strutting in after a victory while the Pacers will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Indiana fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 124-116. Despite the loss, Indiana had strong showings from point guard Malcolm Brogdon, who shot 5-for-10 from downtown and finished with 28 points and seven rebounds, and power forward Domantas Sabonis, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards along with six dimes. That makes it three consecutive games in which Sabonis has had at least ten rebounds.

As for Toronto, they have more to be thankful for after their matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. Toronto strolled past Memphis with points to spare, taking the game 126-113. The Raptors relied on the efforts of point guard Fred VanVleet, who had 23 points and seven assists in addition to six rebounds, and shooting guard Gary Trent Jr., who had 26 points. Trent Jr.’s performance made up for a slower game against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

The Pacers are the favorite in this one, with an expected 4.5-point margin of victory. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with Indiana, who are 10-10 against the spread.

Indiana is now 8-12 while Toronto sits at 9-10. Toronto is 4-4 after wins this season, and Indiana is 5-6 after losses.
