The Kennesaw State Owls will take on the Charleston Southern Buccaneers at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday at home. Both teams were wiped off the court in their previous games and will be looking to bounce back in a big way.
It looks like Kennesaw State got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They took a serious blow against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Tuesday, falling 92-61. A silver lining for the Owls was the play of guard Kasen Jennings, who had 19 points.
Meanwhile, it’s never fun to lose, and it’s even less fun to lose 91-59, which was the final score in Charleston Southern’s tilt against the Clemson Tigers on Friday. Guard Deontaye Buskey wasn’t much of a difference maker for Charleston Southern; Buskey finished with only four points on 2-for-10 shooting in his 29 minutes on the court.
The losses bumped both teams down to an identical 2-4. Kennesaw State and Charleston Southern are both 1-2 after wins this year, but that symmetry won’t hold for long.
