The Prairie View A&M Panthers’ road trip will continue as they head to Frost Arena at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday to face off against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. South Dakota State should still be feeling good after a victory, while the Panthers will be looking to regain their footing.
Prairie View A&M lost a heartbreaker to the Loyola Marymount Lions when they met in December of 2019, and they left with a heavy heart again this past Saturday. It was close but no cigar for Prairie View A&M as they fell 83-80 to Loyola Marymount.
As for South Dakota State, they can’t say they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the George Mason Patriots last week, sneaking past 80-76. The Jackrabbits can attribute much of their success to guard Baylor Scheierman, who had 21 points, and guard Noah Freidel, who had 25 points.
The Panthers have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 16 point spread they are up against. Those who got lucky with them against the spread this past Saturday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
