Watch Raptors vs. Grizzlies: TV channel, live stream info, start time

Through 1 Quarter

Although the Memphis Grizzlies came into the contest as underdogs, they’re on track to steal the victory from the Toronto Raptors. The Grizz has jumped out to a quick 27-18 lead against Toronto.

Small forward Desmond Bane has taken over for the Grizzlies, currently boasting 13 points (48% of their total) in addition to two boards. Toronto hasn’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to seven points or fewer.

This is tied with the least points the Raptors have had yet this season going into the second quarter.

Who’s Playing

Memphis @ Toronto

Current Records: Memphis 10-10; Toronto 9-12

What to Know

The Toronto Raptors are 10-2 against the Memphis Grizzlies since February of 2016, and they’ll have a chance to extend that success Tuesday. The Raptors will play host again and welcome Memphis to Scotiabank Arena, where tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. The Grizz should still be feeling good after a big victory, while Toronto will be looking to regain their footing.

Toronto ended up a good deal behind the Boston Celtics when they played on Sunday, losing 109-97. Center Precious Achiuwa had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only six points on 3-for-11 shooting in his 36 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, everything went Memphis’ way against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday as they made off with a 128-101 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 76-52. The top scorer for Memphis was shooting guard Dillon Brooks (21 points).

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Raptors are expected to win a tight contest. But bettors beware: they are only 1-4 against the spread when favored.

Toronto’s defeat took them down to 9-12 while Memphis’ victory pulled them up to 10-10. Allowing an average of 115.60 points per game, the Grizz hasn’t exactly asserted themselves on the defensive end. We’ll see if they can patch up the holes in their defense before their upcoming matchup.
