Who’s Playing
Eastern Michigan @ California-San Diego
Current Records: Eastern Michigan 2-4; California-San Diego 4-2
What to Know
The Eastern Michigan Eagles are on the road again on Thursday and play against the California-San Diego Tritons at 10 p.m. ET Dec. 2 at RIMAC. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’
It’s never fun to lose, and it’s even less fun to lose 101-63, which was the final score in Eastern Michigan’s tilt against the DePaul Blue Demons on Sunday. The top scorer for EMU was guard Monty Scott (18 points).
As for California-San Diego, it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They were just a bucket short of a win last week and fell 56-55 to the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
The Eagles are expected to lose this next one by 7.5. Those burned by picking them against the spread on Sunday might want to keep in mind that the team has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.
EMU is now 2-4 while California-San Diego sits at a mirror-image 4-2. EMU is 2-1 after losses this year, the Tritons 0-1.
