Who’s Playing
Los Angeles @ Cincinnati
Current Records: Los Angeles 6-5; Cincinnati 7-4
What to Know
The Los Angeles Chargers are on the road again Sunday and play against the Cincinnati Bengals at 1 p.m. ET Dec. 5 at Paul Brown Stadium. Cincinnati should still be feeling good after a big victory, while the Chargers will be looking to get back in the win column.
Los Angeles ended up a good deal behind the Denver Broncos when they played last week, losing 28-13. No one had a standout game offensively for Los Angeles, but they got scores from RB Austin Ekeler and TE Jared Cook. QB Justin Herbert ended up with a passer rating of 127.40.
Meanwhile, everything went Cincinnati’s way against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week as they made off with a 41-10 win. With Cincinnati ahead 31-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already. Their RB Joe Mixon did his thing and rushed for two TDs and 165 yards on 28 carries.
The Chargers are expected to lose this next one by 3. Those sticking with them against the spread have guts, to put it politely, as the squad has let down bettors in their past three games.
Los Angeles is now 6-5 while the Bengals sit at 7-4. Two defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Los Angeles is stumbling into the game with the most rushing yards allowed per game in the league, having given up 145.3 on average. Cincinnati’s defense has more to brag about, as they they come into the contest boasting the second fewest passing touchdowns allowed in the NFL at 14. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
