Who’s Playing
VMI @ Seattle
Current Records: VMI 5-4; Seattle 7-1
What to Know
The VMI Keydets are on the road again Sunday and play against the Seattle Redhawks at 4 p.m. ET Dec. 5 at Climate Pledge Arena.
After constant struggles on the road, the Keydets have finally found some success away from home. They beat the Portland Pilots 90-82 this past Friday. VMI got double-digit scores from five players: Jake Stephens (18), Tanner Mans (18), Kamdyn Curfman (17), Trey Bonham (16), and Sean Conway (11).
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between Seattle and the McNeese State Cowboys this past Wednesday was still a pretty decisive one as the Redhawks wrapped it up with a 78-62 win at home.
VMI is expected to lose this next one by 7. Those who got lucky with them against the spread this past Friday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
Their wins bumped VMI to 5-4 and Seattle to 7-1. In VMI’s victory, Tanner Mans had 18 points in addition to six boards and Jake Stephens had 18 points along with six rebounds. We’ll see if Seattle have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
