Who’s Playing
Vermont @ Providence
Current Records: Vermont 6-3; Providence 8-1
What to Know
The Providence Friars’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Vermont Catamounts at 6:30 p.m. ET Dec. 7 at Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Providence is out to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
The Friars didn’t have too much trouble with the Rhode Island Rams at home this past Saturday as they won 66-52. Forward Noah Horchler (16 points) and guard Aljami Durham (14 points) were the top scorers for Providence. Horchler hadn’t helped his team much against the Texas Tech Red Raiders this past Wednesday, so this was a nice turnaround for him.
Meanwhile, Vermont had enough points to win and then some against the Dartmouth Big Green this past Wednesday, taking their matchup 83-65.
The wins brought Providence up to 8-1 and Vermont to 6-3. The Friars are 6-1 after wins this season, the Catamounts 2-3.
