Who’s Playing
Wyoming @ No. 11 Arizona
Current Records: Wyoming 8-0; Arizona 7-0
What to Know
The Wyoming Cowboys have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will square off against the #11 Arizona Wildcats at 10 p.m. ET Wednesday at McKale Memorial Center. These two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Wyoming took their contest against the McNeese State Cowboys this past Saturday by a conclusive 79-58 score. Wyoming can attribute much of their success to guard Hunter Maldonado, who had 20 points and five assists, and forward Jeremiah Oden, who posted a double-double on 13 points and ten boards.
Meanwhile, the Wildcats made easy work of the Oregon State Beavers on Sunday and carried off a 90-65 victory. Arizona’s guard Bennedict Mathurin looked sharp as he had 29 points in addition to six rebounds.
Wyoming have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 15.50 point spread they are up against. Those interested in the spread don’t face an easy decision since they are 5-1-1 ATS and Arizona 6-1.
Their wins bumped Wyoming to 8-0 and Arizona to 7-0. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
