Who’s Playing

Charlotte @ No. 12 Arkansas

Current Records: Charlotte 4-3; Arkansas 8-0

What to Know

The Charlotte 49ers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the #12 Arkansas Razorbacks at 9 p.m. ET Tuesday at Bud Walton Arena.

Charlotte was able to grind out a solid victory over the George Washington Colonials this past Saturday, winning 86-79. The 49ers got double-digit scores from four players: guard Jahmir Young (26), guard Clyde Trapp Jr. (19), guard Austin Butler (17), and forward Aly Khalifa (10).

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the game between Arkansas and the Little Rock Trojans this past Saturday was still a pretty decisive one as the Razorbacks wrapped it up with a 93-78 win at home. Arkansas relied on the efforts of guard Au’Diese Toney, who had 18 points along with eight boards, and guard Davonte Davis, who had 16 points and seven assists.

Charlotte is the clear underdog, so they’re hoping it’s the size of the fight that determines this one. Those who got lucky with them against the spread this past Saturday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.

Their wins bumped Charlotte to 4-3 and Arkansas to 8-0. Jahmir Young will be someone to keep an eye on after he had 26 points this past Saturday. Let’s see if he can build on that strong performance or if Arkansas’ defense can bottle him up.
