What to Know
The Coppin State Eagles will be returning home after a seven-game road trip. They will take on the Towson Tigers at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday at Physical Education Complex. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’
On Wednesday, Coppin State lost to the George Washington Colonials on the road by a decisive 75-62 margin. The top scorer for the Eagles was guard Jesse Zarzuela (19 points).
Meanwhile, Towson ended up a good deal behind the Ohio State Buckeyes when they played on Wednesday, losing 85-74. Guard Nicolas Timberlake had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 32 minutes with 4-for-12 shooting.
