Hornets vs. Kings: How to watch NBA online, TV channel, live stream info, game time

Through 1 Quarter

Fans are certainly getting their money’s worth as the Sacramento Kings and the Charlotte Hornets have combined for 76 points one quarter in. a win is still up for grabs for either squad, but Sacramento is up 39-37

The Kings haven’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to eight points or fewer. Charlotte has been relying on small forward Cody Martin, who has 11 points along with four boards, and shooting guard Kelly Oubre Jr., who has eight points and three assists in addition to two blocks and two rebounds.

Charlotte might be down, but they’ve been down at the end of the first quarter 15 times this season and have won 60% of those games — in fact, oddly enough, that’s better than their overall win percentage (52%).

Who’s Playing

Sacramento @ Charlotte

Current Records: Sacramento 11-14; Charlotte 14-13

What to Know

The Sacramento Kings have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will square off against the Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m. ET Friday at Spectrum Center. The Kings will be strutting in after a win while Charlotte will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Sacramento didn’t have too much trouble with the Orlando Magic at home on Wednesday as they won 142-130. Sacramento relied on the efforts of point guard De’Aaron Fox, who had 33 points, and shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton, who shot 5-for-6 from downtown and finished with a double-double on 18 points and 11 assists.

Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Charlotte had to settle for a 110-106 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. The loss was just more heartbreak for Charlotte, who fell 127-124 when the teams previously met earlier this month. Despite the loss, they got a solid performance out of small forward Gordon Hayward, who had 31 points and seven assists in addition to five rebounds.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Kings are expected to win a tight contest. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a three-game streak of ATS wins.

Charlotte’s loss took them down to 14-13 while Sacramento’s victory pulled them up to 11-14. Allowing an average of 116.04 points per game, the Hornets haven’t exactly asserted themselves on the defensive end. We’ll see if they can patch up the holes in their defense before their upcoming game.
