The Carver College Cougars will take on the Winthrop Eagles at 7 p.m. ET Saturday at Rock Hill Sports & Events Center. Winthrop will be strutting in after a victory while the Cougars will be stumbling in from a defeat.
It’s never fun to lose, and it’s even less fun to lose 102-50, which was the final score in Carver College’s tilt against the North Carolina Central Eagles on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Winthrop didn’t have too much breathing room in their contest with the Furman Paladins on Tuesday, but they still walked away with an 85-80 win.
Carver College’s loss took them down to 0-0 while Winthrop’s victory pulled them up to 5-4. We’ll see if Carver College can steal Winthrop’s luck or if Winthrop records another victory instead.
