Buccaneers vs. Bills odds, picks, line, how to watch, live stream: Model reveals 2021 Week 14 NFL prediction

Sunday’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-3) and the Buffalo Bills (7-5) will see a matchup of strengths. Tampa leads the NFL in passing offense while the Bills possess the league’s top-ranked passing defense. Buffalo will be hoping that defense leads it to a win, so the team can avoid a losing streak for the first time this season. Meanwhile, Tampa is banking on its offense leading it to another victory which would complete the Bucs’ second four-game win streak of the season. In select markets, you can stream the game on Paramount+.

Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. The Bucs are 3.5-point favorites in the latest Buccaneers vs. Bills odds from Caesars Sportsbook. The over-under for total points has gone as low as 52 but is currently set at 53. In select markets, Sunday’s matchup can be seen live on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Week 14 NFL picks for Buccaneers vs. Bills

Before you tune in to Sunday’s Bills vs. Bucs game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine’s advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,200 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 14 of the 2021 season on an incredible 132-94 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Bucs vs. Bills, the model is backing Buffalo to cover as 3.5-point underdogs. The Bills will go from one extreme to the other after last week’s game vs. the Patriots. While New England threw the ball just three times, Tampa leads the NFL in passing attempts, yards and touchdowns. But Buffalo counters that with a team that’s allowed the lowest completion percentage, the fewest passing yards and the fewest passing touchdowns.

Buffalo’s pass defense isn’t just the best we’ve seen all year, as it’s one of the best we’ve seen in years. It has limited opposing QBs to a 62.9 passer rating which would be the third-lowest by any defense in the last dozen years. For further context, the Patriots have the second-best pass defense this year in terms of opposing passer rating. And when New England faced Tampa in Week 4, Tom Brady failed to find the endzone for the only time this year and the Bucs were held to a season-low of 19 points.

The SportsLine model has Brady committing at least one turnover and the Bucs having two giveaways as a team. It also has the Bills’ run defense making great strides over last week’s performance vs. the Patriots as Tampa is projected to finish with under 100 yards on the ground. With the Bucs’ offense contained, this is projected to be just a one-point game with Buffalo (+3.5) covering well over 50 percent of the time.
