What to Know
The Rhode Island Rams and the Brown Bears will compete for holiday cheer at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Thomas M. Ryan Center. The Rams are out to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Rhode Island made easy work of the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers last week and carried off an 82-58 win. Rhode Island can attribute much of their success to guard Jeremy Sheppard, who had 25 points along with eight rebounds. Sheppard’s performance made up for a slower matchup against the Sacred Heart Pioneers two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the Bears were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 70-65 to the Vermont Catamounts.
Rhode Island’s victory lifted them to 8-3 while Brown’s defeat dropped them down to 8-5. We’ll see if the Rams can repeat their recent success or if Brown bounces back and reverse their fortune.
