What to Know
The Grambling Tigers are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the TCU Horned Frogs at 8 p.m. ET Dec. 21 at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena. TCU will be strutting in after a victory while the Tigers will be stumbling in from a loss.
Grambling received a tough blow last week as they fell 79-61 to the UAB Blazers.
Meanwhile, the Georgetown Hoyas typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday TCU proved too difficult a challenge. TCU came out on top against Georgetown by a score of 80-73. The Horned Frogs relied on the efforts of guard Mike Miles, who had 20 points and five assists along with six rebounds, and forward Chuck O’Bannon Jr., who had 15 points in addition to seven boards.
The Tigers have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 22.50 point spread they are up against. Those who got lucky with them against the spread last Tuesday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
Grambling’s defeat took them down to 3-8 while TCU’s win pulled them up to 9-1. We’ll see if Grambling can steal TCU’s luck or if TCU records another victory instead.
